bathtubgirl's journal

It's Ash Wednesday (although I haven't honored this day of guilt in years) and I am hungover. I drank too much wine with Bacchus and the Son of Pan. They adorned me with pink rosettes and ivy as they poured wine all over my body in the bathtub. I socialized for awhile after the show with Eva and a young woman who recently moved here from San Francisco.

Upon laying in my bed, I was reminded by a pain that I have felt for four days in the upper right rib cage.

Snowsurfer helped me through the night, by tracing the lines of my ribs. He thinks it may be appendix related and he wanted to take me to the emergency room, which I declined due to financial reasons. Then he laid down on the floor to keep himself awake, watching my breathing, which was compromised, while I tried to get back to sleep.

Now, I am up early and he lies sleeping in bed. The pain in my side is still there but the need for writing overcame me. I also got up to put a cam pic on my webcast page, ok call me vain, but I enjoy creating images according to my mood of the moment. I suppose I should have taken a picture of my ribcage with some red painted lines drawn on the painful spot. I might have been able to get an online diagnosis without spending thousands of dollars at the doctor's.

I think I will join Snow back in dreamtime, my 10 a.m. cam show is rescheduled for 10 p.m. tonight, Pacific time.

I would love to hear from you today. I am stuck at BTG central laying in bed and reading books and magazines. Oh yea and working on product labels for my bath products. Snow, Eva, and I have been working on them for a couple of weeks and we are finally near completion. But as Eva pointed out last night, many companies spend millions of dollars and sometimes a year to come up with a product design. Not here. BTG don't play that game.

I am currently listening to, The Mule Variations, by Tom Waits.
