bathtubgirl's journalFriday, January 05, 2001My visit with Snowsurfer came to a close this morning. It was a magical visit, although it was really strange at first getting used to not conversing with him via email. Sad but true. I wish I could lock myself up for about a month and write a novel on my recent life as Bathtubgirl, but I am a webmistress full of technological intenseness. If you are a webmaster or webmistress, then you know that finding time for long term activities not directly involving one's computer is tough.I often describe my experience at the reigns of bathtubgirl.com like being a pilot on an airplane, an old Frank Lloyd Wright airplane that is. Ever since The Gus installed my new router, my webcast stream has been cutting out every 5 minutes or so. Between this complication and Dirtygirl's recent apathy on the project (due to her financial inconveniences), it has been difficult to keep my head above water (no pun intended.)This evening The Gus is planning to come over to put it back to the old proxy server system. Hopefully, this will help. I apologize to those of you who have tried to view the show recently and have had difficulty.
I am still recovering from my tequilla hangover. Drew (Snowsurfer) and I went to go see our friend, Joe Rogan perform at The Comedy Store. The Comedy Store has become my recent hang out. It's sorta cool because I know most of the comedians and they know me as the performer, Bathtubgirl. Last night I got to meet the infamous Joey Diaz, see the big guy shaking his ass on the Joe Rogan website. I also met, Charles Fleischer, the voice of Roger Rabbit, aka, Monkey dog. Talk about deranged, but deranged in that thought provoking genius way. I can't wait until these comedians come play at the new cyber warehouse theatre, The Bathtub Asylum. Rogan said he would hire a bunch of dirty strippers for the parties. That's cool, it will give the queen of hygiene a break. |
